Vor drei Jahren hat der ruandische Musiker Sano Boi eigeninitiativ eine Aktion gestartet: Lieferengpässe zu Beginn der Pandemie führten dazu, dass Lebensmittel und Hygieneartikel in seinem Viertel in Musanze knapp wurden. Er organisierte daraufhin Transporte mit Gütern, um seiner Nachbarschaft zu helfen. Um ihn zu unterstützen entstand das Fotobuch »zwanzigzwanzig«, das Spenden für sein Vorhaben sammeln, und den Zeitgeist dieser kuriosen Episode ein wenig festhalten sollte. Dies ist nun die dritte Edition der Reihe. Alle Fotos stammen aus 2022 – insgesamt 45 internationale FotografInnen haben mitgewirkt. Ihre alltäglichen Schnappschüsse formen unterschiedlichste Blickwinkel auf das skurrile Leben einer im Kapitalismus lebenden Gesellschaft. Mit dem Kauf unterstützt du die NGO Kids Hope Rwanda.

Three years ago, Rwandan musician Sano Boi started an initiative. Supply bottlenecks at the beginning of the pandemic led to a shortage of food and hygiene items in his neighbourhood of Musanze. He then organized transport of goods to help. To support him, the photo book »zwanzigzwanzig« was created to collect donations for his project, and to capture a small part of the zeitgeist of this curious episode. This is now the third edition of the series. All photos were captured in 2022—a total of 45 international photographers have contributed.
